Buongiorno , Ho psa a 7 e mi prescrivono biopsia prostatica. Qualora fosse diagnosticato un carcinoma in fase iniziale senza metastasi, sarebbe comunque possibile un intervento con metodologia Rezum per ridurre i disagi dovuti alla ipertofia ? Grazie.

Buongiorno. Innanzitutto un psa 7 non è diagnostico di un tumore prostatico e speriamo non sia il suo caso. Se lo fosse il Rezum non è indicato perché rimuove la parte centrale della prostata (la famosa polpa dell’arancia) per adenoma benigno. Il tumore è per il 95 % a carico della “buccia” e quindi è su quella che indirizzato l’eventuale trattamento.
