Dopo 3 mesi circa da una cateterizzazione per ritenzione urinaria acuta, sono affetto da Ipertrofia Prostatica, probabilmente dovuta ad infezione urinaria batterica ho il PSA a. 5. Quando dovrebbe scendere?

L’Ipertrofia prostatica sembra avere meccanismi ormonali per la sua genesi e non post-infettivi. Non so quale valore precedente ma, dopo 3 mesi, il valore di PSA è reale a meno che no ci siano state visite o ecografie transrettali nei due mesi precedenti il prelievo per PSA.
