Salve dottore.ho fatto il controllo del PSA ed è uscito 4.58,volevo sapere se può essere alto per il fatto che siccome ho avuto ilcovid e ho rischiato di morire e ho assunto molto cortisone da novembre a marzo poi ho avuto anche una pancreatite.E' possibile che il valore del PSA sia alterato dalla cura che ho fatto e dalla pancreatite?
Buongiorno. Le due cose non sono collegate, a meno che l’abbiano cateterizzata. In questo caso il PSA si alza se eseguito a ridosso del cateterismo. Il cortisone, in teoria, essendo antinfiammatorio, dovrebbe abbassare la componente appunto “infiammatoria” del PSA e non alzarla. Quel valore che mi riferisce non è molto alto per la sua età. Le consiglio comunque di fare un controllo urologico.
