Buongiorno dottore, grazie per la sua disponibilità. Volevo sapere se con un PSA inizialmente 6.40 e poi abbassato a 4.10 e dopo 3 mesi 4.70..ho fatto eco e visita tutto nella norma.. l'urologo consiglia risonanza parametrica prostatica... potrebbe essere qualcosa di brutto? Cordiali saluti

Buongiorno. Il PSA è un marcatore organo-specifico (l’unico che abbiamo a disposizione specifico per un organo, la prostata, in tutto il corpo umano). Non è un marcatore tumorale. Può dirci però che qualcosa non va alla prostata. Sia benigno (molto spesso), che maligno (per fortuna meno). La RMN multiparametrica aiuta sicuramente a capire.
