Domanda: Alcuni urologi consigliano di bere te' nero e non te' verde. Quali sono i motivi di tale indicazione. Grazie.

Buongiorno. La ragione sta nel fatto che il the verde contiene più ossalati rispetto a quello nero. Come sappiamo l’ossalato è uno dei componenti principali, insieme al calcio, dei calcoli renali. Sono calcoli, quelli di ossalato di calcio, in percentuale alta tra i calcoli renali e rispondono male (o non rispondono) alla terapia medica. Quindi, quando ostruiscono o danneggiano il rene se non espulsi spontaneamente, devono essere trattati endoscopicamente o con litotrissia esterna. Comunque è noto che la formazione di calcoli renali ha una componente genetica sulla quale l’alimentazione incide solo in parte.
